Many of the components of this amp date to '67 suggesting that this was an early transitional era Silverface amp. This amp has recently been given a clean bill of health. The tech completed the following:
- Added 3 prong power cord and soldered earth to chassis.
- Changed all electrolytic capacitors under doghouse with F&T’s.
- Replaced out of spec dropping and balance resistors under doghouse.
- Replaced out of spec dropping resistor and bypass capacitor on bias board.
- Replaced out of spec screen resistors on output tube sockets
- Replaced electrolytic capacitors on eyelet board.
The roach and remaining resistors and non-electrolytic capacitors appear to be original. The power tubes were not original.
